About the Executive Team

At the end of May 2011, the single Executive Team for NHS Norfolk and NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney cluster was established.

The Executive Team is comprised of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Directors who oversee the day- to–day management and decision making of the organisation. This includes:

•  Planning
•  Setting goals and ensuring their delivery
•  Organising resources
•  Providing leadership
•  Ensuring that NHS Norfolk and NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney meets the needs of the local population

The Executive Team are PCT Board members. Both organisations remain independent with separate Boards.

The CEO reports to the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Board and is responsible for carrying out the Board's strategic policies.
