A&E Did you know that....
- 50% of patients in A&E in Norfolk could have been treated elsewhere.
- You still have to pay for prescriptions given out at A&E unless you are usually exempt.
- It is not possible to get repeat prescriptions from an A&E department.
- Not all injuries need X-rays.
- There are no dentists in A&E departments in Norfolk.
- Patients do not automatically get a lift home if they are brought in by an ambulance.
- Your GP knows you best and has access to your important medical history.
