Annual monitoring of progress
NHS Permission is an ongoing process. In order to fulfil our duty of care to our participants it is a condition of NHS permission that details of the progress of the research project are submitted to the R&D Office at NHS Norfolk at intervals of no more than one year unless specified otherwise. This is in addition to any requirements from the Research Ethics Committee.
If a research project is discontinued or completed, the R&D Office must be informed and a Final Report submitted.
Progress and final reports for research projects undertaken in any of the primary care Trusts in Norfolk & Suffolk should be submitted on the Annual / Final Monitoring Report Form and sent to the R&D Office at NHS Norfolk.
