Brief biography - Ian Ayres Executive Director of Delivery (Central and West) and Deputy Chief Executive (Norfolk)
Qualifications
- BSc in Human Sciences, University of Surrey, 1976
- MBA, University of Warwick, 1990.
Ian is the Executive Director - Central Norfolk Delivery Unit and Transition with a key role supporting the development of Practice Based Commissioning and World Class Commissioning. He has previously worked as a PCT CEO and SHA Director and more recently as an Associate Director at BUPA Health Dialog.
Ian is an occasional lecturer on the King’s Fund clinical director’s courses and provides organisational development consultancy to a number of other organisations.
The first half of his working life was spent working for BP Oil Europe and included leading an internal consultancy team providing Process Reengineering support to the company’s European subsidiaries.
