Dental services
NHS dentistry is available to all NHS Norfolk residents and you do not need to register with a dentist. For a list of NHS dentists in your area you can:
- Call NHS Norfolk Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 0800 587 4132
- Search the dental map for services in your area
- Use the below search
- Visit the Choices website at: www.nhs.uk for a more detailed search
For emergency dental treatment in normal working hours, you should contact your own dental practice as early in the morning as possible. If you don’t have a regular dentist you can call NHS Norfolk PALS on 0800 587 4132 and you will be given information on where you can go for in-hours routine and emergency dental care.
For all dental emergencies outside of normal working hours, please phone the Norfolk emergency out-of-hours service on 0845 600 3246.
To ensure you and your children have healthy teeth it is advisable to have regular check-ups with a dentist, making them a key part of your dental health routine. Regular check ups will help to reduce the need to access emergency dental treatment.
