GP Out-of-Hours Service
This service helps you to get urgent medical advice outside normal GP opening hours: 6.30pm to 8am Monday to Friday, and all day and night at weekends and bank holidays.
To use the service, telephone your own GP surgery and you will either be transferred to the out-of-hours service or given a phone number to call. Alternatively, you can call the out-of-hours service direct on 01603 488488.
Depending on the nature of your problem, a doctor may give you advice over the telephone, ask you to visit the nearest local treatment centre or, if necessary, make a home visit.
