Coping and Caring
The Relaxation Toolkit (a one day course for those caring for people at home). These programmes are on-going and can be accessed by calling Norfolk County Council on 01603 224114.
An audio CD – A carer’s introduction to Dementia - Hear 2 Care.

Caring at Home a Male Perspective (a half day course for male carers).
This course can be accessed by calling Norfolk County Council on 01503 223895.
The Great Outdoors (a course to enhance a farming interest). For further details call 01502 679134.
A journey in care and life after care (a course to help start the ‘healing journey’). For further details call 01263 722792.
Prevention
Norfolk County Council are preparing a variety of courses which will be preventative – subjects include:
- Introduction to assistive technology
- Swallowing
- Posture
- Nutrition
- Moving and Handling Induction
- First Aid
- Food Hygiene
- MIND - Mental Health First Aid.
Employment
For those Carers that are considering entering the workplace, ‘Passport 2 Care’ is the ideal qualification. This course includes a suite of care qualifications. The commitment is 5 hours per fortnight for 3 terms. Contact Norfolk County Council for further information?
