Case Study
A Norfolk mum has won a hamper packed full of healthy food and drink courtesy of the NHS Norfolk Change4Life team.
Claire Key, from Mundham, entered the competition at Loddon library by completing the ‘How Are The Kids?’ questionnaire. The draw was held as part of a series of healthy living Change4Life events that took place in Norfolk libraries throughout January 2011.
The hamper was presented to Claire at the library by librarian Joan Spruce and NHS Norfolk’s Change4Life Coordinator Alex Lynch. Claire said the hamper was "great” and daughter Emiliana, who will be one this month, enjoyed investigating the exciting new package.
Alex said: "It was fantastic to get people around Norfolk thinking about their daily routine by completing ‘How Are The Kids?’. It gives families a chance to reflect on their diet and activity levels, plus they’ll receive a free action plan from Change4Life based on their answers.
The Department of Health’s Change4Life movement aims to reverse the rising tide of obesity and encourage everyone to get involved and make positive life changes.
Adults and families can receive a free pack by joining Change4Life www.nhs.uk/Change4Life, where you will also get a chance to complete the ‘How Are The Kids?’ questionnaire.
The Your Services section of the NHS Norfolk website includes information on specific services to help you achieve a healthier lifestyle.
