Your Voice – membership scheme
Your Voice is a membership scheme for people who are interested in sharing their views and skills to help develop and improve health and social care services in Norfolk.
Health and social care services help people to live longer, healthier, fulfilling and independent lives. They provide important services in our local communities to prevent people from becoming ill and needing care, and to support people when they do.
Local health and social care partners have been working together to develop the membership scheme to make sure that everyone has chance to have their say so that local people can enjoy the best possible experience of health and social care services - now and in the future.
The partners are:
- Norfolk County Council Community Services
- Norfolk Drug and Alcohol Action Team
- Norfolk LINk
- NHS Norfolk
- Supporting People (Housing support)
As a Your Voice Member you will be able to find out about the different and exciting ways you can help develop and improve health and social care services in Norfolk. For example, you can help to:
- recruit and train members of staff in health, social care or housing support services.
- plan and create health, social care or housing support services.
- check that services are meeting peoples’ needs.
- make sure people understand what health, social care or housing support services are available for them.
